If you are looking for something a little bit different for your wedding, why not go for some edible favours. These delightful biscuits come in many different shapes and can be personalised with either your wedding date or your initials. You can even have the icing match your bridesmaids or colour scheme.
Or you could have them as the place names for your guests. Each one individually iced with your guests name.
Beautifully wrapped and tied with ribbon to match your colour scheme.
Valentines Day is fast approaching and maybe you are looking for something that little bit different. At Cloud Nine Cake Company, we have created a Valentine’s Pot full of handmade goodies and retro sweeties. At £14 this is definitely value for money and can be filled with any combination that took your fancy.
Choose from handmade iced biscuits in various shapes and/or cupcakes. Both of these can be made completely personal and unique to you by having a personal message iced on to them or the name of the one you love. You could even propose to someone in this way.
Or you could have chocolate dipped shortbread, chocolate hearts, brownies and various retro sweets added to your pot to name but a few combinations. All these elements make it a truely unique gift for Valentine’s Day or as a gift to someone in hospital or for Mother’s Day or as bridesmaids gits. The list is endless and I think anyone would be very happy to receive this.
If you didn’t fancy purchasing one, why not try making one yourself. Buy a pretty pot or basket and fill with coloured tissue paper. Purchase some plain biscuits and using an icing pen add a personal message or pretty pattern to them. Make some yummy cupcakes and ice to your own colour scheme and decorate with various cake toppers. Finally fill the gaps with some shop bought sweets. Perfect for your that special person in your life.
May the there be love and happiness for all over the next week leading up to the day of love!!!!
A totally enjoyable wedding fair at Epsom Race Course yesterday where we were literally rushed off our feet and all our cake samples were snapped up by eager brides-to-be.
We showcased our three new cakes named The Autumn Wedding Cake, The First Dance Handpainted Wedding Cake and the Vintage Rose Wedding Cake (our biggest cake yet!), which seemed to be a huge success.
Also showcased at the fair were our new range of biscuits. More on those later.
Working with brides-to-be is so much fun particularly on such an important part of their day. I think we have one of the best jobs in the world
We have some new cake designs which we are very excited about showcasing at the Wedding Fair to be held at Epsom Race Course on Sunday 13th January 2013.
Handpainted Wedding Cakes are still very in this year and we have created something that little bit different along these lines.
Bird Cages are still on trend this year for Weddings. See our amazing Bird Cage Wedding Cake on our website which also incorporates the trend for pastel pinks and greens (just like our Cloud Nine Cake Company branding) as well as the trend of butterflies.
Hello All, Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and New Year from the Team at Cloud Nine Cake Company. Really looking forward to 2013 where our inspiration will be lace, painted cakes and pastel pink and green. Also starting to think about Valentine’s themed sweet trees. Perfect for Valentine’s Day and weddings in general!!!
Enjoy the festive season!!!
What busy girls we are at the moment. Had a very successful coffee morning in which we raised a £100 for Woking Hospice. Everyone loved our yummy cakes and not much was left at the end of the morning!!!
What a huge success our Sweet Trees were at a Christmas Fair we did in Guildford, Surrey. Lots of fun and getting us in the mood for Christmas at Cloud Nine Cake Company.
Hello there, we are starting to think about Autumn 2013 at Cloud Nine Cake Company and are drawing inspiration from the environment around us. The leaves and their beautiful colours are going to be the inspiration behind one of our new cake designs. Looking forward to showing you a picture soon
Very excited about our Christmas biscuits that Claudine designed today. Some many possible ideas from these from Christmas Tree decorations, name tags on presents and bottles of wine or just yummy to eat over Christmas. Cloud Nine Cake Company can personalise these to suit our clients.
How exciting! My first entry in our company blog. We are a bespoke cake company based in Surrey, who can supply Wedding Cakes, Celebration Cakes, Cupcakes, Biscuits and and Sweet Trees for all occasions to the South East of England.
Claudine and I set up the company this year and are loving every minute of working on our new business. We are both busy Mum’s with young families so really appreciate being able to do something for ourselves (our new baby!)
I come from a business background and Claudine’s background is as a pastry chef so the presentation on her cakes is out of this world!!!!
Look forward to posting some more later this week on what we have been up to.
